Now, users will be able to search for messages on WhatsApp from other users’ contact information page. This can be useful for those who frequently use the chat app. The new interface will make it easier to find specific messages from an individual chat rather than scrolling endlessly.

WhatsApp is working on introducing a revamped user interface for its contact information page. The instant messaging app previously updated its business details to WhatsApp Beta for iOS 2.21.170.12, however, now it appears that the app is planning to extend the update to its standard WhatsApp accounts.

According to a report on
WABetaInfo, the new interface will be similar to the interface deployed on the company information page. The new interface includes a search message icon according to the screenshot shared by the portal. Although the business information page also displays account status updates, the same is not available for standard WhatsApp accounts.

The feature currently under development will be rolled out gradually. Those who install the new beta version of WhatsApp for iOS 22.6.0.73 can receive the new interface. The report on WABetaInfo said WhatsApp may release the new UI for some users on stable updates, including WhatsApp Business. However, it is standard for WhatsApp that if users do not see the changes, they can see them with the next update.

The most used instant messaging app has updated and tweaked its platform to provide a hassle-free experience for its users. Earlier this week, it was reported that the app was working on a new feature to persist specific messages while using its “Disappearing Message” feature.
