Commercial cleaning and facilities management company Ms Buckét has won a major new contract with Cardiff-based Panasonic Manufacturing UK.
The Swansea-based company won the deal after showing how it could add value to Panasonic and help create an improved experience for the manufacturer’s employees.
The new contract will involve seven members of Ms. Buckét’s team working on site five days a week.
One of the largest manufacturers in Wales, the Panasonic factory has produced a range of consumer electronics since 1976, including televisions, vacuum cleaners, mobile solutions and laptops.
This is the first time the factory has employed an external cleaning company, having run their cleaning business and managed their cleaning internally.

Rob Blowers, Plant General Manager, said: “From the outset, it was clear that Ms. Buckét’s philosophy aligned strongly with ours. They are very professional and worked closely with us to establish clear objectives, goals and ideas.

He added: “Having always managed the management of our facilities in-house, we knew there would be a cost associated with switching to an external cleaning company. However, the solution offered by Ms. Buckét offered such tangible value for the company that we knew we were doing the right thing.

Mrs Buckét, which was launched by Rachael Flanagan in 2005, has 330 staff operating in South Wales and South West England.
