Report: No contact established between Chelsea and Jan Oblak
Chelsea are yet to contact Atletico Madrid regarding the signing of Jan Oblak, despite rumors suggesting otherwise. Chelsea will certainly be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after doubts surrounding At Edouard Mendy’s position have intensified in recent months.
The Senegal international has made a string of big mistakes lately and seems a far cry from Chelsea’s goalkeeper in the Champions League winning season. The club will target new goalkeepers.
Kepa and Mendy will battle for the number one spot at the moment, but the club seem unsure of the two.
According Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea are yet to make contact with Atletico Madrid regarding the signing of Jan Oblak. The goalkeeper is said to be available in January, but Chelsea are not among the clubs interested in pursuing him.

Chelsea know the ideal targets they would want for the goalkeeper position, and Oblak doesn’t seem to be one of them. The goalkeeper will be available for around £25million in January, and Manchester United are interested in him as they attempt to replace him. David De Gea between the sticks.
