Names of Constant Contacts Broadcast PR AOR

BOSTON: Email marketing platform Constant Contact chose Diffusion as its AOR PR.

The company is responsible for highlighting lesser-known business skills, such as texting and social media marketing.

“It’s about making sure that more businesses and nonprofits know about this full scope that [Constant Contact’s] online marketing platform has it going for them,” said Kate Ryan, Broadcast MD.

Allie Tedone, Broadcast VP, will lead a team of six on the Constant Contact account.

Constant Contact contacted Diffusion as part of an agency search in May and finalized their choice in July. The platform quickly narrowed its options to two companies before landing on Diffusion, said Kristen Andrews, senior director of communications at Constant Contact.

“We’re a Boston-based company, so they make sure we have people in Boston who are very knowledgeable about the media landscape here,” she said.

Constant Contact has parted ways with incumbent Lewis PR to refresh its brand and focus on client relationships, Andrews said.

Part of Diffusion’s mission is to tell the stories of Constant Contact clients who may not have large marketing budgets but have used the marketing data collected by the platform. The company is also working on a campaign that focuses on data and features creative activations in the company’s hometown of Boston.

Ryan declined to discuss campaign details further, and Ryan and Andrews declined to discuss budget information.

DEI specialist Involve chose Diffusion to manage communications for its workplace diversity and inclusion efforts in July.

GoPro also selected the company as its PR AOR, with a focus on US media relations, in April.

Constant Contact’s customer base includes Boston farms, bookstores, bakeries and real estate agencies.
