A commercial and office cleaning company will create new jobs in Whitefield after signing a deal with a luxury car company.
London-based Cleanology is leading its national expansion with a new contract won covering three Mercedes-Benz showrooms in the North West, including the Manchester Road location in Whitefield.
It will also cover the company’s Macclesfield showroom and its flagship site in Stockport, the largest in Europe.
The three-year contract with car dealership LSH Auto Limited, worth over £1million, will employ 23 people on site in showrooms and luxury retail spaces, offices and automotive service shops.
Cleanology CEO Dominic Ponniah said, “This fantastic news has cemented an incredible year for our business.
“As well as winning awards in 2022, we have successfully expanded to 12 other cities across the UK.
“Manchester is one of our fastest growing areas, and we look forward to helping Mercedes-Benz locations reflect the high standards associated with the brand.”
Stefan Bowett, of LSH Auto Limited, said: “We chose Cleanology for its proven track record with similar high profile brands, sustainability credentials and staff wellbeing.
“The team has been great and we’re already starting to see improvements.”
Ponniah said: “With any luxury brand, attention to detail is key.
“We’ve upgraded to state-of-the-art equipment to keep the floor in top condition and, with the showrooms open seven days a week, we’ve changed the previous work pattern to bring in staff after customers have left the building.
“At the same time, we maintain a daytime housekeeper for hotel-type care.”
