Asynt was created in July 2003 with the aim of developing, supplying and supporting new, sustainable and innovative products at the heart of the laboratory.
Since its inception, we have developed the DrySyn range (a clean and safe alternative to oil baths and mantle heaters) reducing both oil purchase/disposal costs and a 35% reduction energy consumption.
We also take pride in reducing laboratory water consumption by using our air-cooled CondenSyn units and highly efficient water circulators.
Our current team has over 70 years of experience in the scientific sector and works hard to help our customers find the best possible solutions for their needs.
The main product lines available include Asynt ReactoMate laboratory reactors, DrySyn heating and cooling blocks and tools from Grant, IKA, Julabo, Porvair, Telstar and Vacuubrand, among others. With a wide range of scientific equipment and consumables ranging from benchtop laboratory scale to pilot plant and beyond in the chemical and biological sectors.
Asynt’s managing director, Martyn Fordham, spent nearly two decades serving the needs of research chemists (initially just custom glass blowing) before founding Asynt. For Martyn, having a skilled staff that is both knowledgeable and dedicated to customer support has been key to Asynt’s successful growth.
